Just a short note to highly recommend reading Follow the River, the historically true story of a remarkable women, Mary Ingles, who was captured by Shawnee in 1755, and taken about 500 miles away. The author captures the inspirational story of a remarkable women on her journey home. Great writing and amazing story of courage. Going to have to dig up more books by James Alexander Thom.
