Tania Babina, Anastassia Fedyk, Alex He, and James Hodson, authors of the study “Artificial Intelligence, Firm Growth, and Product Innovation,” published in the January 2024 issue of the Journal of Financial Economics, developed a new measure of firm-level AI investments to determine whether AI can transform economies and spur economic growth.
